Shabbat Shluffing

A yummy Shabbat was had by all today, just hanging low at home and catching up on sleep.  Tali Bami is a great nap buddy and today we took a 2. 5 hour afternoon shluffy.  These are pictures from our lazy day.

Michelle and Kazina going to Church for their first time together (Seventh Day Adventist observe Sabbath on Saturday)--they brought Rahel just to help.

Mengi had to come over for some Tali Bami time.  He and Rahel call her Pastry so they have become Aunt and Uncle Pasty to me.

3/4 members of the Sarah family hanging at the hotel:

And Tali Bami did well playing with a new toy.  She sits up very strait and steady and when she really focuses on her work, she drools.  Its very cute.

Tonight we have a house guest, Fitzum.  We got him a single room for the night because early tomorrow morning we are all going on a road trip.  That would be the Sarah family: Tom, Jennifer Morris, Bedasa and Shikuri, the Kraft girls and Fitz.  Tariq from Biftu is taking us all to Asebe Tefere to that branch of the orphanage.  The Sarahs are going to learn more about Shuki's background and Fitz and I are going to work with the HIV positive women on a new sewing project that we are developing.  More about that later!

No blog tomorrow because we will be back very late, but Monday we should have lots of new adventures to share.

Love and Goodnight from Addis,
