Like us, their case has gone to the USCIS in Nairobi and, like us, they have no idea when it will pass and they will be given an Embassy appointment. Michelle, however, missed Kazina so much that she didn’t want to wait anymore! So, we made a reservation for her at the Semien, sent our angel/driver/brother Mengi to pick her up, and today she reunited with Kazina after 2 months!!
When we brought Michelle to the foster home we had a long overdue weigh-in and TBK is 7.62 Kilos or 16.76 lbs! CHUNKORAMA!!
And FINALLY, the Northwest Denver Ethiopian Baby Crew (that would be NWEDBC) is finally complete (for now;.) These 5 lucky babies are going to grow up within one mile from each other and they certainly have a unique and shared history. I feel SO SO lucky that Tali Bamlak has this MAGNIFICENT posse!!

Oh man, she went from being 2/3 of Mila's weight to the exact same weight! That's some good mama-ing!
ReplyDeletethe whole thing is very inspiring for everyone and i like to say congra! for Michelle for the wonderful family reunion.
ReplyDeleteThe angels are very lucky to grow in a short distance and they don't need Amharic Teacher since they can chat all the times.
Love to all,
